Leeson Fluid 609 Bespoke:
2005 sees the Leeson line up grow again with the introduction of an all new frame, the Fluid609. A trials specific 24 inch frame with universal appeal. Sitting inbetween 20 and 26 inch trials bikes the 609 combines the best features of both types of bike. If you love trials and feel like a change, the 609 is definately a frame to consider.
The frame uses all the trademark Leeson features including an extra wide bottom bracket shell, 360 dropouts and the new asymetrical Straight torque stay system.
Available as either a frame kit or complete bike, we can supply you with products from all the best 24 inch brands. Sunn, Atomlab, DT Swiss, Sapim and Schwalbe.
The Fluid 609 is also available with ISIS bottom bracket, Chris King compatiable dropouts and V-brake mounts.
The 360 dropout: Explained.
The 360 dropout holds the axle through a full 360 degree, unlike a conventional slotted dropout it has just one place for location. This unique design makes the rear triangle far stiffer than other frames. Also available in Chris King and skewer versions.
